About Me
Ashley spent her teaching career working in public schools in Texas for 10 years. She focused on the youngest generation and had a passion for building a strong foundation in phonics for developing readers.
In 2020, Ashley left the classroom to become a stay-at-home mom. During her time at home she stayed connected to education by focusing on contract writing with 240 Tutoring. Through her work she was able to bring her classroom experience and knowledge to write insightful content for current and aspiring teachers.
After 6 years at home, Ashley was eager to go back into the classroom part-time as a substitute teacher. Ashley is an active member in her community and is excited to bring fresh experience into each article she writes.
